Volunteers are crucial to making XSI happen. There are numerous opportunities to serve this year, whether on the hospitality team or the parking team; there is a role for anyone! Consider teaming up with some friends and serving on the same team together!

As a thank you, all volunteers attend XSI for FREE!

Personal Stories

After years of chasing identity through the military, trades, and a lifestyle of drugs and alcohol, Ian hit rock bottom at 3 am on a cold New Hampshire night — and heard something that changed everything.

In late March, over 175 students from the middle and high school ministries took part in a community clean-up project! The students split into groups and were sent out to many different neighborhoods around Columbus to pick up trash. Students were also able to raise some money for camp by participating.

Thank you to all who served that day!

This past Tuesday, the high school ministry hosted a "Welcome Freshman Night" for the incoming class of 2030.  Students enjoyed free pizza, volleyball,  outdoor activities, and a teaching from Shane Coulter on Luke 4. Pray for the dozens of incoming freshmen as they decide which high school group to join.

Hosted by Dave Glover

Dave Glover interviews Steve Bauer, who has overseen operations at Dwell Community Church for over three decades, about his transition from business to ministry and the surprising lessons learned along the way. Bauer reflects on major building projects from the Cleveland Avenue campus to Fourth Street and Oakland Park, sharing stories of God's providential timing and closed doors that led to better opportunities.

A devotional from
Chris Risley

Paul's fourth key to joy is intercessory prayer—specifically praying that the Philippians' love would grow in knowledge and discernment, not just sentiment. Chris emphasizes that biblical love involves truth and requires wisdom for each unique situation, comparing spiritual growth to teaching children chores—messy and time-consuming at first, but ultimately fruitful.
